Tuerk Says Montenegro to Follow Croatia as Next EU Member

Cetinje, 5 September - President Danilo Tuerk expressed strong support to Montenegro's efforts for membership in Euro-Atlantic organisations as he began a two-day official visit to the country on Monday. Coming out of talks with counterpart Filip Vujanovic, Tuerk said Montenegro would be the first former Yugoslav state to follow Croatia into the EU.
