Kaunas, 15 September - Slovenia were defeated by Lithuania 77:80 in the 5th place bracket of the European Basketball Championship in Kaunas on Thursday, losing all hopes for a spot in a qualifying tournament for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Slovenia will play the meaningless game for the 7th place on Saturday.
