Tuerk Highlights Human Rights, Environment Protection in UN Speech

New York, 22 September - Slovenian President Danilo Tuerk highlighted human rights protection and climate change as important international and Slovenian priorities as he addressed the 66th regular session of the UN General Assembly in New York. He also asked for support to Slovenia's bid for non-permanent membership of the UN Security Council.
