Public Sector Unions Demand Withdrawal of Austerity Act
Ljubljana, 5 October - The KSJS confederation of public trade unions, representing some 74,000 public sector employees called on the government on Wednesday to scrap changes to the austerity act extending the public sector pay freeze to 2012. The unionists believe the outgoing government cannot conduct serious talks on the issue.
