Constitutional Court Should Establish Constitutionality of Demand on Revoking Slovene Citizenship

During last two weeks the Slovene political public directed most attention and discussion to the initiative on collecting signatures for a referendum on revoking the Slovene citizenship to those persons who were granted the citizenship on the basis of the article 40 of the Citizenship Law. At an emergency session Friday the Slovene Parliament passed the demand that Constitutional Court should decide on constitutionality of the demand for the referendum.
