Ljubljana Intensive Care Nurses on Strike for Higher Pay

Ljubljana, 27 October - Some 140 nurses from the Ljubljana UKC intensive care unit went on strike on Thursday, after the hospital lowered their salaries to correspond with their official education instead of the tasks they perform. The government proposed an annex to the relevant collective bargaining agreement, but the nurses are not entirely happy with it.
