Defence Minister: Budget Cuts Will Weaken Defence System

Ljubljana, 2 November - Outgoing Defence Minister Ljubica Jelusic took stock on Wednesday of her time in office, warning that cuts in the ministry's budget will weaken the country's defence capabilities. She said that this economic situation was the consequence of "lay understanding by some of our politicians" of how the military and disaster relief systems operate.
