Builder Primorje to Hand Out First Pink Slips

Ajdovščina, 3 November - The troubled builder Primorje, Slovenia's only construction giant which has not filed for receivership, is to lay off 178 workers by the end of the month, the management said after a meeting with the trade unions on Thursday. The company, which has been unable to pay its workers since August, promised to pay out a part of October wages on Monday.
