CoE Praises Slovenia for Progress in Minority Policy

Strasbourg, 7 November - The Council of Europe (CoE) issued on Monday an opinion on Slovenia's implementation of the convention for the protection of minorities. The country was praised for efforts against the discrimination of Roma, the changes to the act regulating the legal status of former Yugoslavian citizens and the support to Hungarian and Italian minorities.
