Gorenje Group Halves Profit in First Nine Months Y/Y

Velenje, 11 November - The group around the Velenje-based household appliance maker Gorenje generated a net profit of EUR 7.8m in the first nine months of 2011, which is less than planned and 53.6% less year-on-year. Sales revenues meanwhile grew by 9.8% year-on-year to EUR 1.06bn, the company wrote in a press release on Friday.
