Only Handful of Soldiers Attend Protest

Ljubljana, 17 November - Only a handful of soldiers took part in the protest staged in front of the Defence Ministry on Thursday by the Soldiers' Trade Union (SVS) and the KNSS Neodvisnost union association over the poor conditions in the Slovenian Armed Forces. Gvido Novak of the SVS stressed the support to the cause was great but soldiers were afraid.
