Public Opinion on Austerity Bill Divided

Ljubljana, 21 November - A poll by the daily Delo showed on Monday a 51.9%-44.4% split between the proponents and opponents of the need to adopt an austerity act that would help cut public spending. The poll on other hand showed 75% condemning election candidate Gregor Virant for receiving ministerial unemployment benefits while making thousands of euros in royalties.
