Expert Cautions Against Uncritical Hailing of Internet as Democratic Tool

Ljubljana, 10 December - Media and IT expert Lenart J. Kucic has called for caution against overly optimistic views of the internet and social networks as automatic boosters of democracy and human rights. He argued for the STA that technology serves the purposes of those using it and those determining its use.
