Unions: Companies Must Meet Minimum Wage as of New Year

Ljubljana, 14 December - Slovenia's biggest trade union pointed out at a press conference on Wednesday that a transitional period in which companies were allowed to pay out wages below the legal minimum wage will end on 1 January 2012. Over 1,610 companies decided to use this option, according to the ZSSS, after gross minimum wage was raised two years ago.
