Ptujski Luek Red Onion Gets EU Geographical Protection Status

Brussels, 16 December - The European Commission labelled yet another Slovenian product with protected geographical status on Friday. Ptujski luek, a sort of red onion grown in the area of Ptuj (NE) for over a century, has become the tenth Slovenian product to get special origin protection in the EU.
