Slovenia Observes Independence and Unity Day

Ljubljana, 26 December - Slovenia will observe Independence and Unity Day on Monday to mark 21 years since the independence plebiscite, in which Slovenians opted to break away from Yugoslavia. The results of the referendum on the country's independence were officially released on 26 December 1990.
