2011, the Year of Reforms That Was Not

Ljubljana, 28 December - 2011 was not the reform year that the government had imagined: major reform plans crumbled, brought down in referenda and by a recalcitrant opposition. The most painful rejection for the cabinet was that of the pension reform, which precipitated the collapse of the government and the sliding of Slovenia's credit rating.
