Number of Waste Dumps Shut Down, Ministry Sees No Cause for Alarm

Ljubljana, 13 January - The Environmental Agency (ARSO) at the Environment and Spatial Planning Ministry ordered in 2011 that eleven waste repositories around the country, including seven major ones, be shut down. However, the ministry ensured the press on Friday that situation was not critical, as capacities at other sites, existing and planed, should suffice.
