Slovenian MEPs Welcome Schulz as New Parliament Leader

Strasbourg, 17 January - Commenting on the election of German Socialist Martin Schulz as the new president of the European Parliament, Slovenian MEPs expressed their belief on Tuesday that Schulz would prove a good leader. They especially praised his efforts to give Parliament greater powers in relation to the European Commission and the Council of the EU.
