Dnevnik Sees Planned Budget Cuts as Irrational

Ljubljana, 25 January - The daily Dnevnik is critical on Wednesday of the right-leaning coalition's "Irrational Goal" of cutting budget expenditure by EUR 800m this year, pointing out that the cut demanded by the European Commission is at least three time smaller and wondering how it can be brought about with the series of tax cuts and benefits for companies announced.
