Handball: Slovenia Lose to Spain, Secure Fifth-Place Match

Novi Sad, 25 January - Slovenian men's national handball team lost to Spain 32:35 (15:15) in their last match of the main round at the European Championship in Serbia's Novi Sad on Wednesday, but a draw between Croatia and Hungary later this evening secured them the third spot in Group II and the fifth-place match on Friday.
