Report: Church, State in Talks over Maribor Archdiocese's Debt

Ljubljana, 27 January - The daily Delo has reported that the Ljubljana and Maribor archbishops met government representatives in August over the financial situation of the Maribor Archdiocese. Two of the three financial holdings owned by the archdiocese are in receivership, and its potential financial collapse could be followed by its abolishment.
