Carnival Festivities Kick Off in Ptuj
Ptuj, 3 February - Carnival festivities kicked off in the medieval town of Ptuj (NE) just after midnight on Friday to observe a tradition which will culminate in the Kurentovanje Art and Heritage Carnival between 10 and 21 February. This year the carnival will feature a record number of masks and costumes from around the globe.
