Ministry Rep: Slovenia Cannot Follow EU Energy Roadmap With TEŠ6

Ljubljana, 3 February - Slovenia will only be able to reach the EU Energy Roadmap 2050 goals by scrapping the construction of the sixth generator at the Šoštanj coal-fired plant TEŠ, Mojca Vendramin of the Economy Ministry said on Friday. A more ambitious environment policy will make carbon credits dearer and TEŠ 6 will become a stranded investment sooner.
