Protesters Decry ACTA, Want to Stop Ratification

Ljubljana/Maribor, 4 February - Protests were staged in Ljubljana and Maribor on Saturday in opposition to the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA), a controversial accord that was signed in Tokyo last week and provoked an outcry by privacy advocates and civil liberties groups. The protesters demanded that the ratification procedure be halted.
