Prešeren Prize Winner Snoj Seeks the Distant and Divine

Ljubljana, 7 February - One of the two winners of the Prešeren Prize, the top national award for lifetime artistic achievement, Jože Snoj started his writing career as a poet in the mid-1950s. He soon moved to prose and essays, while later he also wrote for children. "I'm stuck in the transcendence of immanence," he says in an interview with the STA.
