Banks Lost EUR 356M in 2011 as Writedowns Surged

Ljubljana, 7 February - The Slovenian banking sector posted a cumulative loss after tax of EUR 356m in 2011, up from EUR 56m in 2010, as writedowns surged and balance sheets shrunk, the central bank said Tuesday.
