Committee Backs Govt's Position on EU Financial Measures

Ljubljana, 10 February - The parliamentary EU Affairs Committee unanimously confirmed on Friday the outgoing government's position on the proposed EU's financial stability measures that tighten budget oversight of eurozone countries. While supporting the new mechanism in general, Slovenia believes the European Commission's powers should be limited.
