Public Sector not Too Big, Conference Hears

Ljubljana, 14 February - The size of Slovenia's public sector and its costs are similar to those of other EU countries, a forum on problems in the public sector heard on Tuesday, with economist Jože Mencinger stressing that instead of cutbacks, the state should improve the sector's efficiency.
