Ministry Critical of Some Proposals to Ease Use of EU Funds

Ljubljana, 14 February - Slovenia is not completely happy with the EU Commission's proposal to simplify procedures for drawing from cohesion funds presented last week. The Ministry for Economic Development and Technology said on Tuesday that the 120 proposed changes are a step in the right direction, but some provisions would only increase red tape.
