Minister Promises Police Less Red Tape and More Protection
Ljubljana, 14 February - New Interior Minister Vinko Gorenak is to send a letter to the 9,000-strong Slovenian police force on Wednesday, promising to cut red tape so that officers have more time for operative work in the field. The letter also announces more protection for police officers performing their work in line with standards and the law.
