Slovenia Protests over Italian TV's Photo Manipulation

Rome, 15 February - The Slovenian Embassy in Rome sent a protest note on Wednesday to Italian public broadcaster RAI over its manipulation with a historical photo. RAI used it to illustrate violence of Yugoslav partisans over Italians after WWII while the picture in fact depicts an Italian squad shooting a group of Slovenian civilians during the war.
