European Year for Active Ageing Kicks Off in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 16 February - Slovenia officially entered the 2012 European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity Between Generations with a ceremony at the National Council, the upper chamber of parliament, on Thursday. National Council President Blaž Kavčič stressed that this was the EU's response to the demographic challenge of ageing population.
