Carnival Festivities Culminate with Parades Across Slovenia
Ljubljana, 18 February - Virtually every town and village in Slovenia will celebrate this weekend, with carnival festivities culminating in parades and parties. The biggest celebration will traditionally be staged in the medieval city of Ptuj, where a record number of spectators and costumes are expected.
