Lenarčič Crosses Pacific in Ultralight Plane

Ajdovščina/Auckland, 29 February - Slovenian adventurer Matevž Lenarčič, who is on his way around the globe in Pipistrel's ultralight plane, has successfully crossed the Pacific and landed in Auckland, New Zealand, the organisers of the solo flight said on Wednesday. In 50 hours of flying, Lenarčič travelled 11,900 kilometres in five stages.
