Slovenia Welcomes Serbia's EU Candidate Status

Ljubljana, 2 March - The Foreign Ministry hailed the EU's decision to grant Serbia the status of a candidate country on Friday, while Prime Minister Janez Janša said the decision was an indirect pressure for a solution to be found for the row between Macedonia and Greece, which has been an obstacle to Macedonia's accession talks with the EU.
