Slovenian Minority Author Decorated by Carinthian Governor
Klagenfurt, 7 March - Slovenian minority author in Austria Maja Haderlap has been decorated with the great golden medal of Carinthia. She was honoured by Governor Gerhard Dörfler for her novel "Engel des Vergessens" (Angel of Oblivion), an account of the resistance of ethnic Slovenian minority against the Nazi army during WWII.
