Romana Tomc Elected Deputy Speaker of Parliament

Ljubljana, 9 March - Slovenian lawmakers have voted 73 to 3 to appoint Romana Tomc of the ruling Democrats (SDS) the new Deputy Speaker of Parliament. Tomc took the seat vacated by New Slovenia (NSi) MP Ljudmila Novak, who became Minister for Slovenians Abroad in February.
