Unemployment Rate Hits 12-Year High

Ljubljana, 16 March - Slovenia's unemployment rate rose 0.4 percentage points to 12.5% in January, a twelve-year high, as scores of workers whose fixed-term works contracts expired at the end of the year rushed to register as jobless and construction continued to shed jobs, the Statistics Office said on Friday.
