Referendum Culmination of Heated Debate on Family Law
Ljubljana, 23 March - The new family law, the first comprehensive update of the country's family legislation in 35 years, has been making waves ever since debate on it started in 2009. Bringing among other things new rights for homosexual couples, the law, passed by parliament in June 2011, will be put to a referendum this Sunday.
