Panel: May General Election Key Step in Serbia's EU Efforts

Ljubljana, 30 March - The general election in Serbia planned for May was deemed as the key step in the country's efforts to join the EU at a panel held in Ljubljana on Friday. By acquiring candidate status earlier this month, the country has made a step forward, however it must continue to meet EU requirements, the panel agreed.
