Social Pact in the Balance as Unions Hold Out

Ljubljana, 2 April - Social partners came out of Friday's meeting of the Economic and Social Council ostensibly agreeing on the guidelines for a new social pact. But the ZSSS, the biggest trade union grouping, said on Monday it would not sign the document until the supplementary budget is sorted out.
