Economist Says Austerity Budget Good, Measures Questionable

Ljubljana, 6 April - The goals of the supplementary budget adopted by the cabinet on Thursday to get the budget deficit below 3% of GDP are a step in the right direction, economist Bernard Brščič commented for the STA on Friday. However, the approach of the austerity measures is too accountant-like and could be fairer, he said.
