Parliamentary Committees Start Debating Austerity Budget

Ljubljana, 22 April - Parliamentary committees will start debating next week the austerity budget for 2012 which the government is proposing in a bid to slash expenditure and reduce the budget deficit to 3% of GDP from over 6% now. The measures to achieve this are proposed in an omnibus bill on the balancing of public finances.
