Opposition Wary of Fiscal Rule as Bypass for Referendum

Ljubljana, 23 April - Opposition SocDems head Borut Pahor and Jani Möderndorfer of the opposition Positive Slovenia (PS) agreed at Monday's meeting of parliamentary parties that making the fiscal rule part of the Constitution should not serve to bypass a debate on limiting referendum possibilities. Pahor proposed changes to provisions on referendums.
