Minister Demands New Terms for Police Union

Ljubljana, 23 April - Interior Minister Vinko Gorenak has ordered termination of agreements under which members of police trade unions get paid for their work for the union. The reason is excessive generosity of the agreements, rather than the ongoing strike, he says. But the unions have threatened to step up the strike.
