Economy Committee Backs Austerity Budget, Omnibus Bill

Ljubljana, 25 April - The parliamentary Economy Committee endorsed on Wednesday the 2012 supplementary budget and the government bill for the balancing of public finances. While the opposition said the measures would not reach the desired effect, coalition deputies argued it was necessary to adapt spending to the revenues.
