Commission: Croatia Has Confirmed Readiness for Negotiations Under BIS Auspices

Brussels, 4 May - The European Commission supplemented Friday its position on the issue of savings deposits at the defunct LB bank, saying Croatia "confirmed its readiness to continue negotiations on this matter under the auspices of the Bank for International Settlements in Basel (BIS)" and that there was no indication to believe this position had changed.
