Deal with Unions Will Not Raise Deficit, Minister Says

Ljubljana, 8 May - After the government reached a compromise agreement with the country's biggest confederation of trade unions, the ZSSS, regarding the omnibus austerity bill late on Monday, Finance Minister Janez Šušteršič asserted on Tuesday that no agreement would compromise the government's goal of lowering the budget deficit.
