New Italian Ambassador to Slovenia Presents His Credentials

President of the Republic of Slovenia Milan Kučan was Monday presented with letters of credence of the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Italy to Slovenia Massimo Spinetti. On this occasion, they exchanged their viewpoints of the bilateral cooperation between Slovenia and Italy, particularly in the framework of Slovenia's endeavours to approach the European Union which have been for some time burdening the relations between the countries and are in the forefront of the attention on both sides of the border, reported the President's office.
